Retail Growth Channel Manager

job purpose:  The Retail Growth Channel Manager will be responsible for executing a selling story in assigned accounts. They will manage key customer relationships including negotiating customer agreements that deliver against internal operating plans and customer expectations.

responsibilities:

  • Supporting role with Bottler and Franchise Channel Leadership
  • Maximize volume and revenue in key assigned accounts by using fact-based selling methods
  • Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
  • Analyze customer information and business trends using IRI and Nielsen to identify and expand business opportunities
  • Work closely with the Selling Operations team to improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships
  • Ensure customers are complying with contracted requirements
  • Quarterly business reviews with Customer Teams

skills/qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4+ years’ sales experience in CPG, beverage sales experience a plus
  • Strong written and verbal skills required
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of an organization
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to represent the company in a professional manner
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Power Point and Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Travel required
